Global Fund for Women has been a critical partner in strengthening SRHR Alliance’s advocacy and institutional capacity. Through this support, the Alliance has advanced national-level advocacy efforts that amplify feminist, youth-led, and rights-based voices within policy and decision-making spaces. The funding has enabled meaningful engagement with key stakeholders, strengthened movement building, and supported strategic advocacy aimed at protecting and advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights in Kenya.
In addition to advocacy, Global Fund for Women’s support has contributed significantly to internal capacity strengthening for SRHR Alliance staff. This includes building skills in organizational leadership, program design, learning and reflection, and adaptive advocacy approaches. By investing in both people and movements, Global Fund for Women has helped position SRHR Alliance to respond more effectively to emerging challenges, sustain impact, and continue advancing transformative, feminist-led change at national and community levels.
