Mwikali has over 10 years in the Public health sector working in different capacities in program management and Resource Mobilization. She is currently the program manager and works with our 17 partners in implementing the two programs, AmplifyChange and GUSO. Mwikali is charged with the responsibility of making sure the joint activities of the two programs run smoothly and the desired results are realized. Prior to joining the SRHR Alliance, she worked at the County Government of Machakos, as the Hospital Administrator at Kangundo Level IV Hospital, and the Resource Mobilization manager at the Department of Health & Emergency Services. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health, Management and Leadership from the University of Sheffield, U.K; where her Master’s dissertation topic was on; menstrual hygiene and how it affects school abseentism for girls in Kasese Western Uganda. Her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behaviour Science; Community Health and Development from the University of Kansas U.S.A. Mwikali’s interests and passion are in the reproductive health of women and girls, SRHR of young people, and in health finance and economics.
